Student Competitions
Our Region 4 ASC Student Management Competition showcases some of the top students in the country. The Region 4 competition typically includes a total of more than 30 teams from 14 universities in a seven state area. It is an annual event that operates in conjunction with the Region 4’s midyear meeting and Career Fair. There are five areas of competition – Heavy Civil, Commercial (two separate divisions), Design Build, and Specialty Contacting.

September 1 RFQ requirements issued by sponsors (posted on ASC website)
September 25 Registration Due (REDUCED TO $200 PER TEAM)
October 9 RFQ due to judges (via email or google drive)
October 16 RFP presented by sponsors
October 21 RFP due to judges (via email or google drive)
October 26/27 Division Presentations (afternoon)
October 28 Awards Ceremony (7:00pm)

**For 2020 the Career Fair will not be offered, but companies who sponsor will be provided the following:

The ASC Region 4 Construction Management Competition is open to all companies and employers wishing interact with college students from the “Best of the Midwest“. Registered companies will have the opportunity to:
- Observe the students present their solutions on Friday starting at 3:00 PM at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center
- Set-up a display at the Leadership Breakfast and talk with more than 200 students from seven different states
- Have your voice known by visiting with university faculty
- Come a day early and watch the students in action as they present their solutions to a panel of judges
- Play a round of golf. The Lied Lodge and Conference Center has an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer
